I am a writer, designer, and researcher. I thrive in a multitude of actions and undertakings, from working with architects as a graphic designer to running a networked design lab in Portland, Maine, and teaching as faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University, Northeastern University, and Maine College of Art and Design.  

I’m now working on a book project on women's history in design. In that work, I’m exploring writing for an audience less familiar with design but eager to learn from these creative women. 

My work and interests have been informed by my love of education and the (many) diverse courses I’ve taken, from drawing at the Royal Drawing School in London to Arts Management at Sotheby’s.
